In the Process Modeler you can design and configure the Process Diagram, Split Conditions, Allocation Rules, Process Data Items, and Read/Write Permissions.

1. Process Model Information
The name of a Process Model being edited, and any additional notes.

Menu for switching between setting screens.

Process Diagram
|
- In this screen you can:
- Create Process Diagrams.
- Arrange Swimlanes, Tasks and Events, and define workflow order.
|

|
Split Condition
|
- In this screen you can:
- Set Split conditions and destinations if the Process Diagram contains Splits.
- This is not available if a Process Diagram does not include Splits.

|
|
Allocation Rule
|
- In this screen you can:
- Define Allocation Rules to specify the person in charge of each Task.
- Definitions can be made in the following ways.
- Absolute assignment by specifying groups/users
- Relative assignment based on who is in charge of another Swimlane
- Assignment based on entered data upon execution

|
Process Data Item
|
- In this screen you can:
- Configure Process Data Items and define the data type to be used throughout the Process.
|
|
|
Read/Write Permission |
- In this screen you can:
- Configure Read/Write Permissions for each Process Data Item.
- Define at which Task each Process Data Item can be "read" or "written."
- This is only available after defining data items in the Process Data Item screen.

3. Common Operation Menu
This operation menu is displayed in all setting screens.

Save |
- Saves the Process Model.
- A pop-up window will ask you to confirm the action.
- When the Process Model is not appropriately define, you will be
notified by a pop-up window. You can save incomplete Process Models, but
you will not be able to activate them.

Close |
- Closes the Process Modeler.
- A pop-up window will ask you to confirm the action.
- A confirmation message appears if you try to close without saving changes.

|
Help |
- Opens Application Manual in a separate window or tab.
|
|
|
Variables Setting |
|
|
|
Small Process Diagram |
- Displays the Process Diagram in another window.
- Zoom into/out of the Process Diagram by the slider.
- Use this when you want to see the Process Diagram in screens other than "Process Diagram" setting screen.

|
Print Process Diagram
|
- Prints out the Process Diagram.
- Print properties must be confirmed before printing the diagram.
|
|
|
Full Screen |
- Switches Process Modeler into full-screen mode.
- Press Esc key to change back to normal mode.
- Note that this feature is provided as a beta version.

|
Curve |
- Shows workflow lines as curves.
|
4. Main Page
- This is the main page of the Process Modeler.
- The content here changes for each setting screen.
- Refer to instructions of each editing screen for details.
5. Menu Bar
- [File]
- [Save]: Saves the Process Model
- [Exit]: Closes the Process Model
- [Edit]
- [Undo]: Cancels the last operation
- [Redo]: Restores to the state before [Undo]
- [Preferences]
- [Variables Setting]: Opens Process Model Variables setting screen.
- [Size Setting]: You can choose from [Small], [Normal] or [Large].
