When you set a Data Item as “Required”, it will be mandatory to input in all editable Steps.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Data Item settings are applied to the entire Workflow App. Therefore, it is not possible to make the input mandatory only in certain Steps.<\/p>\n

However, it is possible to avoid the situation where incomplete data is passed to downstream Steps if you define business flows in which you can send back Tasks when an input is incomplete.<\/p>\n
