Basic chapter and Mail body chapter you can now flexibly generate and send the subject and body of an email in a Case. In the Address embed chapter I\u2019ll introduce how to dynamically change the addressee (To) and the sender (From). That format is the syntax of the <strong>username <\/strong>which you can use in the sender (From), the addressee (To), Cc, and Bcc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">For more information on the name-addr format please refer to RFC 5322 specification page here.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/tools.ietf.org\/html\/rfc5322#section-3.4\">RFC 5322 \u2013 Internet Message Format<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a Throwing Message Intermediate Event (email) is executed in this state an email from \u201cno-reply@f.questetra.net\u201d or \u201cno-reply@s.questetra.net\u201d is sent to the Case Start User.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Case Start User is embedded in the name-addr format<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Case Start User can even be embedded in the Cc and Bcc fields. For example, if it is embedded in the Cc field a copy of the email will be sent to the Case Start User.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specify User-type Data Item<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now let\u2019s see how to specify an email address using the values in a Data Item entered at the Confirmation Task. For Users registered in Questetra BPM Suite you can specify an email address with a User-type Data Item. Let\u2019s try sending an email by embedding the email address specified with the User-type Data Item into the \u201cTo\u201d field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Create a User-type Data Item and set its Data editing permission to Editable in the Confirmation Task. Therefore, if the addressee is embedded with a String-type Data Item the Case Start User can freely enter any email address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, by selecting <strong>Text Box multiple lines<\/strong> in the String-type Data Item it enables you to <strong>specify multiple email addresses<\/strong> in each field of the Throwing Message Intermediate Event (email). When you select \u201cFixed choice list\u201d you will be able to set the options manually. Let\u2019s enter <strong>an email address into the Choice ID section and its name into the Label section<\/strong> as in the screenshot below.
