By configuring your Google Workspace domain in System Settings – Google Connectivity, users can log in to Questetra with their Google accounts. In addition, various integration features such as user information synchronization, Google Drive export, and Google Calendar export become available.
System Administration Privileges are required for this configuration.
What You Can Do after Setup
| Feature | Overview |

| Disable Password Login | You can disable login via Questetra’s own passwords and unify authentication through Google |
| User Information Sync | You can bulk-import user, organization, and group information from Google Workspace into Questetra |
| Google Drive Export | You can export File-type data and Case lists to Google Drive / Google Sheets |
| Google Calendar Export | You can register Case deadlines in Google Calendar |
| Google Integration within Workflows | Automated Step items such as [Google Drive: Upload File] can be used in Workflow Apps (Advanced edition or higher; configured on the App design screen) |
Setup Procedure
1. Configure the Domain
Open System Settings – Google Connectivity and enter your organization’s Google Workspace domain in the “Domain” field (e.g., questetra.com).
The domain is the part after @ in the email address. Once configured, “Log using a Google Account” will appear on the login screen.
Even without configuring a domain, individual users can link their personal Google accounts. However, in that case, the organization’s domain is not restricted, so logins with unintended Google accounts may occur.
2. Disable Password Login (Optional)
Turning on “Disable Password Authentication” prevents Users from logging in with Questetra passwords. This setting is intended for organizations that want to unify authentication through Google.
- Users with System Administration Privileges can still log in with a password via the padlock icon on the login screen (for emergency administrator access).
- If SSO (Single Sign-On) is enabled, the Disable Password Authentication setting is also effective.
Synchronizing User Information
You can bulk-import user, organization, and group information from Google Workspace into Questetra (one-way synchronization from Google Workspace to Questetra). The corresponding items in Questetra are as follows:
| Google Workspace | Questetra |
|---|---|
| User | User |
| Organizational Unit (OrgUnit) | Organization |
| Group | Role |
Synchronization is performed from “Synchronize with Google Workspace” on the “Bulk Registration” screen in System Settings – User List. Organizations and Roles can also be synchronized from their respective screens.
- API access must be enabled on the Google Workspace side.
- Synchronization is performed manually. Changes on the Google Workspace side are not automatically reflected in Questetra.
For details, see M308: Importing Organization, User, and Group Settings from Google Workspace.
Per-User Google Drive and Google Calendar Integration
To use the Google Drive export and Google Calendar export features, each user must link their own Google Account’s Google Drive and Google Calendar with Questetra BPM Suite. Until the linking is complete, the buttons and menus listed in the table below will not appear.
Linking is performed by opening [Account Settings] from the user name in the upper right corner of the screen, then going to [Google Connectivity]. This [Google Connectivity] is a separate screen from the [Google Connectivity] in System Settings, and each User operates it themselves. Google Drive and Google Calendar are linked separately. Items that have already been linked are displayed on this screen as “Google Drive (connected)”, for example.
| Required Link | Available Feature | Operation |
|---|---|---|
| Google Drive | Save files from File-type Data Items to Google Drive | Click the Google Drive button next to the file |
| Google Drive | Export Case and Task lists to Google Sheets | Select [Export to Google Sheets] from the download menu above the list |
| Google Calendar | Register Task Deadlines in Google Calendar | On the Case detail screen, click [Register in Google Calendar] next to the Task that has a Deadline |
To remove the link, click [Disconnect] in [Google Connectivity] under [Account Settings].
