
Overview
You can set the authority to create channels in Collab Chat. It is possible to configure Channel Creators and Channel Administrators. Channel Creator authorization is subdivided into Public Channel Creators and Private Channel Creators.

Notes
- Users with Channel Creator authorization can create new channels in Collab Chat by visiting the [User Created Channel List] in the side menu.
- When creating a new channel, the creator must specify the following:
- The channel name
- The channel visibility (i.e. if it is public or private)
- When creating a new channel, the creator must specify the following:
- Users can freely join or leave public channels by holding the cursor over the specified channel in the [User Created Channel List], and clicking the [ Join] or [ Leave] icon.

Notes
- Private channel membership can only be determined by the Channel Administrator(s).
- You will only be able to see private channels of which you are a member in the [User Created Channel List].
