Data Item: Discussion-Type

Displays a non-editable box and a text field that saves comments in the box chronologically with information of the date, time and name of the User who commented. Unlike other Data Items adding new input will not erase previous data. The data item is used for discussion between multiple users in charge of Issues and recording the discussion.

Notes

  • To input / edit data items, the editing authority in the task must be set to “Editable”
  • By clicking Send button, comments can be added to discussions without saving Tasks
  • Comments that have been written but not sent will be saved when the Task is saved
    • The maximum number of characters that can be entered is up to 1 million characters in a total of comments, date and time, and user name
  • URL format strings (starting with https:// http://) will automatically become links when displayed
    • Once the comment has been sent, it cannot be deleted
    • All comments are automatically added with the date and time they were sent, along with the name of the user who sent it
    • Entered data will be records of conversations which were used for closed communication between the Operators of the Process
      • Communication using Discussion-Type Data Item is limited to the person in charge of handling the Issue
      • The history of these recorded conversations can be viewed by users with data viewing permissions
      • You can have closed communication within the process using the process’ Collab Chat channel, the internal chat function
        • The other Collab Chat channels are used for communication on the other topics and scopes, such as a new operation including the group members, a plan to modify a workflow app with app admins and users, or an open company-wide topic
