App may become uneditable if a base PDF is used by multiple Steps (Fixed)

Affected Version and Operation

  • Ver. 12.2.0 and later versions
  • Multiple “Service Tasks (PDF generation)” are set in one workflow App, and a base PDF (PDF form) with a file size of 1MB or more is commonly used by the Tasks

Bug Details

  • Occurs in a workflow App that meets all of the following conditions:
    • Multiple “Service Tasks (PDF generation)” is set in one workflow App
    • Base PDF (PDF form) with a file size of 1MB or more is registered as “Add-on” or “App shared Add-on”
    • Multiple “Service Tasks (PDF Generation)” utilize the same “Add-on/App Shared Add-on” above
  • What will occur
    • A system error occurs when trying to open the App details screen or App editing screen, and the target screen is not displayed
    • As a consequence, you will not be able to check or edit the settings of the target App

Workround・Recovery

  • Please remove the Add-on (Base PDF) or update the file so that it is less than 1MB with the following procedure
    • For app-specific “Add-on”
      • Enter the URL in the following format directly to your browser then delete or update the target Base PDF (PDF form) in the “Manage Add-on” screen
        • {YOUR PLATFORM URL}/PMM/ProcessModel/File/list?processModelInfoId={APP ID}&fileType=pdf/
      • Open the App detail screen of the target App from the Apps list
    • For App-shared Addo-on
      • Go to [System Settings] > [App-shared Add-on] > [PDF form in service task (PDF generation)], then delete or update the target BasePDF (PDF form)
  • This bug is a problem in the [App Settings] menu. It does not affect the execution of the “Service Task (PDF generation)”.
  • This bug is due to be fixed in the coming version (Ver. 12.2.1)
